About Us

Hi, I'm Dana and this is my husband, Stanley, and our daughters Caroline and Kendall! We live in St. Louis, Missouri and have a big, friendly dog whose hair sneaks into my packaging from time to time. I am a stay at home mom who fits my business into our day when I can. I couldn't be happier to do what I love but also raise my daughters and watch them grow and learn new things every day. It's not always easy but I don't take it for granted. I appreciate my customer base who makes this dream of mine possible!

 OUR STORY

In 2015 we had a big storm roll through and it knocked over part of our fence. We were new home owners and recently engaged so we were in the thick of renovating our house and planning a wedding. The costs of both were quickly becoming very overwhelming and the fence falling down (as well as a few other home owning setbacks) seemed like more than we could handle at the time. We put our heads together and brainstormed what we could do with the broken fence post (because if you know Stan you know that no material goes unused around here). That’s how our little business was born. We started with the holiday blocks and just used word of mouth among family and friends. It took us a few months of selling blocks for us to believe people actually liked what we were selling and didn’t just feel bad for us. 😂 We ended up setting a goal to completely fund our honeymoon and we reached it just in time!

Our business started with hand painted blocks and while we don't offer them anymore, we have several other products that we've added over time and our product line looks completely different. I'm thankful to have found my niche in personalized items. Our customer base is a mix between local and all over the country and we feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work with this many wonderful customers!

We got married in 2016 and now have our beautiful daughters, Caroline and Kendall! As the business has evolved over time, I have taken it over so Stan can focus on his job and our home improvement projects. I now do this full time so I can stay home with our girls. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Nothing makes me happier than creating something that my customers love and seeing my products “out in the wild” as I like to say. As always, I thank you so much for your support. Also, you’re the best if you’re still reading this!
